This week I spent some quality time with Corpus, the piece I made for the Bible and Theology department at Wheaton College. I was there to take some new higher resolution images of the piece to be used for the cover of the book of the latest Wheaton Theology Conference. Although I see the piece from time to time throughout the year, this was the first time I had spent some significant time with the piece (more than an hour) in a while. I have to say it was enjoyable, like having coffee with an old friend. Sometimes when I go back to an older work I am mostly conscious of the flaws. But in this case I felt more like we were continuing an conversation we were having two years ago. Nice.
